Janet & Derek purchased Willerin in January 2006, and since then it has become a labour of love.

Our aim is to provide a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for our guest, whilst at the same time making Willerin a place that treads lightly on the world.

Being on the banks of the Blackwood River we were very conscious of our responsibilities to ensure that activities carried out on our land didn’t impacted on the surrounding environment. As part of this approach in August 2007 we had a Biolytix treatment system installed, which treats all waste water from both houses. The treated water is then piped via 200 linear metres of sub surface irrigation to our vegetable mandala.

A longer term goal is to power both houses using solar power.
